Good morning ladies and great job yesterday! Clapping

And a special Cheerleader for Jaime...who is STILL smokeless WOO HOO!

We have 4 missing...Nancy, Angie, Jenny, and Neppie. Hope everything is fine with them and they have just been to busy to get here. Unsure I think Melany said she would be back this week and Deedee is somewhere. Hope her travels are going well.

Yesterday was okay for a Monday. It snowed all day but nothing to get excited about. But it IS cold!

I was 100% yesterday and pledge to be 100%.

Have a great day and see you all later Waving

Good Morning Deb and Challengers.

I actually slept up until the alarm went off this morning, which means I am running way behind.

Congratulations Jaime, keep it up hun.

Congratulations to you Deb on your 100% day.

I didn't get a chance to read yesterdays post. I wil sneak a peak at work today.

I completed my second planner yesterday. I sure hope my order gets here by tomorrow. I am good on breakfast and lunch items. But I only have three dinners. I may be asking advice from you guys for reasonable substitutes. I so don't want to blow this streak I have going.

Time to hit the ground running. I was 100% yesterday (day #56) and I pledge to be 100% today.

I hope everyone has a Great 100% day.

Wave challengers.

I want to thank you for the welcome yesterday. I never made it back online. My DH was home and we had lots of errands. I am glad I have found you here. I am beginning my 159th day on NS and except of 2 days at Thanksgiving and 5 days around Christmas I have been 100% each of those days. I just love NS.

The 100% days are paying off! The scale is moving and I'm finally below my lowest weight from before the holidays. I'm still struggling with the taste, mostly of the dinners. You see, I am a gourmet cook and love to make really elaborate meals for my family. So while they are eating hungarian goulash, I had to contend with mystery meat with funny gravy and mushy noodles. Still, as I told DH last night, it's working, so I don't dare go off right now, when I'm still so far from goal.

I was 100% yesterday and will be today; we can't go out at all because everything is closed due to the ice storm. Kids are home, DH is working from the study, and dogs won't go outside. I hate it when people say they're glad it's cold because now it "feels like winter." I say, yeah, you know where else it feels like winter? North Dakota. If you like the cold weather, move there. We moved to the south so we wouldn't have to deal with cold weather. Next week, it will be warm again, I'm sure.

Have a great day, all!

Good Morning and Welcome Donna! Wave

It's cold everywhere except Florida I guess. Yikes! Gotta go to work today. Darn! It was nice having the day off yesterday. I played with Ringo and while he rested for his next burst of energy I got to play some PC games. The house is clean too. Ringo is going to the groomers today so he will look great when I return home from work. We want to get a family photograph taken while he is still a pup. Wish I was skinny. Oh Well. I'm working on it! Anyone remember "Middle Age Man" (Mike Meyers) from Saturday Night Live? There was a brief Middle AGe Woman too. It was funny.

Well, as you know I went out to eat yesterday to the Olive Garden and had one of their Low Fat dinners - Shrimp Primavera. I left half of the pasta, had lots of salad, and one breadstick. It wasn't as tasty as spaghetti and meatballs but it was probably one-half the calories too. I really didn't know what to eat there and tried to be selective.

I vow to be 100% today. The scale moved up a bit since Friday and I'm trying not to get depressed about it. I have all month to get to the 30 pounds lost mark and get that little bear in my next shipment! The month is half over though so I'm getting a bit anxious.

Hang in there! Have a great day! Ninja Turtles

Hi again!

I got to work but it was tricky this morning and this afternoon going home will be worse. We just experienced 3-4 inches of snowfall and believe me, we are not prepared for snow in this town. I just watched a video of several accidents all on one hill - like bumper cars. Luckily, I have 4WD, new tires, and cables. My snow tires are in the garage becaue we were supposed to have an Il Nino~ weather pattern. Darn! I've never put cables on my tires before (like chains) but if I want to get home, I will do it. They are required now. That's my exercise for the day! Why didn't I take the train today??????

I :rotfl:

Would it be inappropriate to say that I'm jealous of the snow? :rotfl:

So lets see.. I was bad this weekend. I was not 100% yesterday. I was up until after dessert. I got hungry and I had some carrots but I couldn't resist and I had some dark chocolate. I know so stupid! UGH! Ever since stopping smoking, I have not had the same will power with the food. It's weird. It's like I rationalize the chocolate by saying, well I'm not smoking so I have to have this instead. It's hard sometimes!

Today I've been 100% so far and I am planning to stay that way. Although I went to the gym yesterday, I am not going tonight. Tomorrow I will go again.

Deb, where did everyone go? I knew Nancy was missing and Cathie Disappeared a long time ago but Jenny and Angie and our neppie, where did they go? We told Jenny we wouldn't kick her out of the club, did she kick herself out? :rotfl: lol kidding. Come back everyone!

Linda, good job on staying 100 yet again! Deb is right that there are many other healthy options to chose to stay on plan if your order is not here in time. Check out the NS on your own board or the recipie threads maybe?

Donna, welcome! Glad to see you here again today! You certainly belong in the 100% club given your string on 100% days! I too think its just the greatest thing, and tell everyone that they should try it.. I too wish I had found it sooner!

Bibiana YAY Cheerleader for the scale drop! I can imagine that being a gourmet chef, the NS foods can get old real fast, and it must be so hard when you are cooking these great meals, to have to give them up, but just keep telling yourself that it is working and that will help it go down easier? I actually like some of the food so I don't have too much trouble. I've been on NS three months as of today and I still look forward to the food. (My favorites like the burger, the lasagna etc) but I would say that if you are a chef, you should consider the NS on your own b/c it will allow you to cook and make things that are NS friendly but good and offer some variety perhaps? Have you ever checked out http://www.hungry-girl.com ? They have some amazing LF and FF recipies there, some with stats that are comparable!

Gail, congrats on chosing the lesser of evils at Olive Garden. It's hard when you eat out to forgo the things you really want but you got through it, and Im sure the dish you had was good too and will help get the scale moving in the right direction! Stay warm and Safe in that snow storm please!

Ok time to make some hot tea.

Big Hug

Evening everyone :rotfl: Hope you will share the photo with Ringo. :rotfl: YAY for your 100% day and the exercise yesterday!

Jenny it's so good to see you checking in :-s Just kidding! I have been thinking about you and watching your ticker. I am willing that scale down! Oh! I wanted to ask if you have tried the new pancake mixes. (You and I always seem to have the bundt cake on the weekends) Both new mixes are outstanding! My personal favorite is the blueberry. Make sure to order some on your next shipment. You will not be sorry. And a BIG WOO HOO for your 100% day Yahoo

Well it's time for these old bones to call it a night. See you all in the morning.
